Project description
We pitched and won IKEA Korea’s Facebook and Instagram channel management and content creation. The Global Team created an annual social content calendar highlighting festivals and global product releases with a local flavor to it. 60 percent of content gets localized and 40 percent is produced in-house. The challenge was to create the perfect content-mix for IKEA’s 2017 global theme “Cooking and Social Kitchen”, product launches, and local festivals. We produced images and animated content that is relevant and relatable to the young Korean targets living circumstances. Our ideas-focused strongly on authenticity, cultural relevancy, and global brand values.
